Science, Society, Astrology & Me
Insatiable Curiosity and Scientific Pursuits
My curiosity drives me to explore the Solar System, governed by Classical Mechanics, and the Atom, dictated by Quantum Mechanics. Each discovery uncovers more mysteries in nature, highlighting the influence of Omniscience. Nature's low entropy, especially in living beings, fascinates me. Despite aging, our bodies renew themselves by producing and destroying approximately 3.8 million cells per second, transforming us continually.
Journey into Vedic Astrology
My thirst for knowledge led to a Doctorate and a life as a scientist, but also to the ancient art of Vedic Astrology. Seers (Rishis) discovered connections between planets (Grahas) and human lives without modern technology. A personal incident deepened my curiosity, challenging my skepticism and reshaping my perspective. While my scientific peers were critical, I grew intrigued by astrology's enigmatic nature. Astrology doesn't rely on logical equations or controlled experiments but hinges on the interpreter's deep knowledge and spiritual clarity.
Embracing Astrology with an Open Mind
Listening to modern astrologers opened my mind, revealing astrology as a field worth exploring. Maintaining an open mind is essential for any scientist, allowing us to consider possibilities beyond conventional understanding. Through studying horoscopes and case analyses, I view the Universe as interconnected nodes, influenced by celestial bodies in ways yet to be fully understood. Ancient Hindu scriptures named this Jyotisha, meaning "science of light." Hindu temples revered celestial bodies as demigods, known as the Navagrahas.
Interplay of Destiny and Free Will
Horoscopes, based on birth data, reflect prarabdha karma—our destiny—while Vedic philosophy acknowledges free will. Horoscopes act as blueprints for our actions, shaped by past deeds (karma). They show how our birth, circumstances, relationships, and life events are guided by prarabdha, while our daily actions (kriyamana karma or agami karma) plant seeds for future experiences. This interplay of destiny and free will underscores the connection between our choices and cosmic forces.
Challenges in Predicting Universal Phenomena
While astrology can explain individual lives, predicting universal phenomena is complex. Perhaps there's an underlying pattern yet to be discovered, similar to Schrodinger's equation in quantum mechanics for heavier atomic structures. Understanding the interplay of nature remains a challenge for astrologers. I hope Artificial Intelligence can help explore these patterns and deepen insights into cosmic connections.
Dual Identity: Scientist and Astrologer
Today, I identify as both a scientist and an astrologer. Continuous learning is the cornerstone of both fields, with no obligation to believe blindly. As Lord Buddha said,
“Do not believe in traditions simply because they have been passed down through generations. But after observation and analysis, if something aligns with reason and promotes the well-being of all, accept it and live by it.”
Goal and Vision
My goal is to help society by addressing life’s challenges and offering guidance. Through this website, I aim to reach a broader audience, marking the first step in a larger journey. With the Almighty's blessings, I remain committed to the path ahead.
