What is Vedic Astrology and how it is different from Western Astrology?
Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, based on star positions, while Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, aligned with Earth's seasons. This difference leads to a shift in zodiac signs due to the precession of the equinoxes. Additionally, Vedic astrology emphasizes spiritual and karmic aspects, whereas Western astrology focuses on psychological traits.
Is Vedic Astrology better than Western Astrology?
Whether Vedic astrology is "better" than Western astrology is subjective and depends on individual preferences. Vedic astrology is often seen as more precise due to its use of the sidereal zodiac and its focus on the Moon's position, reflecting emotions and experiences. It also includes detailed planetary period analyses ("dashas"), but interpretations vary by astrologer and individual needs.
What can Vedic Astrology tell you?
Your Vedic horoscope indicates the likelihood and timing of specific events in your life. In yoga tradition, the outcomes of past actions return in three strengths, with "Adridha" representing possible karma—events that are somewhat likely to happen.
What are the various life matters that can be analyzed using a horoscope?
Vedic astrology, or Jyotish, examines planetary positions at birth to analyze various aspects of life, including career, relationships, health, strengths, life purpose, major events, spiritual growth, and overall trajectory.
What details I will need to give it to the Astrologer?
You will need to provide your birth details to me. This will include the Date of Birth. Time of Birth and the Place of Birth. These details need to be as precise as possible to make accurate predictions.
How long before I will need to give these details?
In order to be as accurate as possible, we will need to perform a thorough analysis of your horoscope. Reading a horoscope will take time due to complex nature of planetary influences and interactions. Thus, we recommend that you provide your chart at least 7-10 days prior to the consultation.
How long a consultation session will last?
An initial consultation session will last anywhere between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Follow-up sessions can be scheduled based on client's request.
How much each session will cost?
A moderate fee of $50/session will be charged as we will have to spend quite a bit of time on each horoscope.
What to expect during a consultation session?
To keep the session effective, it is recommend to limit the scope by asking 3 key questions to the astrologer. It is better to submit these questions before the session so that we can analyze for those parameters and come up with informed answers for the client.
What if the client wants to know more or dive deeper into their horoscope?
We can cover them in follow-up sessions.
How does a typical consultation session work?
The consultation sessions can be performed either in a video or audio format. Sessions can take place using virtual platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp or phone call. This is up to the client and their convenience.
